Levi Nickerson Passmore 1874-1958

U May Pass More Photographers,
But No More Like Passmore
This saying was famously stated on all of my great grandfather’s work vehicles and this web site is simply dedicated to the man, his life, and works.
His fine work in the commercial field of photography back in the early twentieth century, photographing under the name Lee Passmore, helped San Diego now enjoy images of early life in the growing city. His camera views of maritime trade, navel ships and back country roads and vistas were famous. As well, natural history buffs may enjoy his later work as a field naturalist.
On this site you'll find information on his life, work and family.
